I am best defined, by me as an 'Engipreneur' - someone who makes shit happen! Seriously, I am an Engineer by trade and an Entrepreneur by passion. I love filling gaps that so desperately need to be filled, it is my greatest desire to live my life on purpose and in return help others find their passion(s) and live their life on purpose.
Did You Get the Memo? (DYGTM) came about approximately ten and a half years ago when I was certain I had completely screwed my life and career up. I had a baby at 24, was unmarried and took 14months of my graduate scheme career. The sad thing was that I wasn't the only one that thought I'd messed up, a lot of people close to me thought the same. In the last decade I have listened to people's stories, people's judgements and found out that there are a lot of us who haven't followed the 'Memo' that suggests life is lived according to the principles that involve a great education, amazing career with high earning potential, love, marriage, kids and retirement.
